Fruit Salad with Honey-Lime Dressing

INGREDIENTS:

For the Fruit Salad:
2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
2 cups pineapple chunks
2 cups grapes (red or green), halved
2 oranges, peeled and segmented
2 bananas, sliced
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
1 mango, peeled and diced
Optional: Other fruits such as blueberries, raspberries, or sliced apples

For the Honey-Lime Dressing:
3 tablespoons honey
Juice of 2 limes
Zest of 1 lime
1-2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves (optional)

Serves: 8 People

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Prepare the Fruit:
a. Wash and prepare all the fruits as needed. Slice, chop, or segment them according to your preference.
b. Place the prepared fruits in a large mixing bowl.
2. Make the Honey-Lime Dressing:
a. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, lime juice, lime zest, and chopped fresh mint leaves (if using) until well combined.
b. Taste the dressing and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more honey or lime juice as needed.
3. Assemble the Fruit Salad:
a.  Pour the honey-lime dressing over the prepared fruits in the mixing bowl.
b. Gently toss the fruits with the dressing until evenly coated.
4. Chill and Serve:
a. Cover the fruit salad with plastic wrap or transfer it to an airtight container.
b. Refrigerate the fruit salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the fruits to chill.
c. Before serving, give the fruit salad a gentle toss to redistribute the dressing.
d. Serve the fruit salad chilled, garnished with additional fresh mint leaves if desired.
