Lesson 1

The Appointments of the Lord: This lesson introduces the biblical appointments (Mo’edim) set by God, exploring their significance in the context of discipleship in Yeshua. Are these exclusively Jewish festivals or are these God’s appointments?

It covers the historical and scriptural background of these divine appointments, providing a platform for future lessons.

Lesson 2

The Origins of Passover: This lesson delves into the historical and scriptural roots of Passover, examining the powerful redemption of Israel from the Egyptians and her deities. Was this just a fictional story or is this story a foreshadow of the eternal redemption that comes through Yeshua.

Lesson 3

Passover vs Easter: This lesson compares and contrasts Passover with Easter, analysing their origins, meanings, and traditions in both Jewish and Christian contexts. Together we will explore where the rift between Passover and Easter, with the councils in 325 and 265 AD and the implications of those decisions.

Lesson 4

Do “THIS” in Remembrance of Me: Focusing on Yeshua’s instruction during the Last Supper, this lesson explores the significance of remembering Him through Passover. Where does communion, as practiced today fit into this? Should we as Christians be celebrating Passover each and every year?

Lesson 5

The Passover Seder: This lesson offers an in-depth look at the Passover Seder, its components, and its symbolism. It explains the traditional elements of the Seder meal and their significance in the context of Yeshua’s teachings and the command in Torah to ‘retell’ the story to each generation so that they don’t forget – A similar message to Yeshua’s commission to the disciples.

Lesson 6

The Feast of Unleavened Bread: This lesson covers the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and how Passover falls within this incredible week. We will explore how the First Fruit offering of barley was collected by the High Priest, and that no one could touch of their harvest until this ‘First Fruit’ had been accepted by God? Does this sound familiar to Yeshua’s own language “Don’t touch me for I haven’t yet ascended”.

Lesson 8

Pentecost and Sinai: This lesson explores the dual significance of Pentecost, linking it to both the events at Mt Sinai and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We will delve into the events that occurred and come to an understanding that both events were remarkably similar AND both incredibly powerful.
